The first annual Hope Givers Gala was a great success! There were about 100 people in attendance and a delightful evening was had by all. Attendees donned their fine attire and they all looked absolutely stunning! K Bar S Lodge offered a beautiful setting in the Black Hills and we were even blessed with a double rainbow as the backdrop for the evening. The speakers did an amazing job sharing the need, real stories from trafficking survivors, and Esthers Rising’s work being done to reach goals and meet those needs. Dinner by the Powder House Restaurant was absolutely delicious and was topped off with scrumptious cheesecakes from Fork Real. After all the fantastic fun auction items were bid on, guests had the opportunity to dance to the upbeat rhythms of Cambria String Band. Over $17,000.00 was raised and many more connections were made. We are grateful for all who attended, gave auction items, helped decorate, worked, promoted, donated, and supported Esthers Rising’s first gala! -Suzi & Cheri
